birthday surprises

its the wifes birthday today, so last night went into town to get her something, on the way out she said "oh dont get too much, sure youre bringing me out for dinner anyway"....so i went and bought her a big box of chocolates and an ipod...anyway left the chocolates and card out for her to find this morning, but hid the ipod in her coat....so anyway this morning she wakes me up and says "thanks for the present.....er is that it"

"yes, sure im taking you out tonight and you said..."

"oh right" leaves bedroom looking none too pleased, so i lie there expecting the coat to go on and a squeal of delight to be heard any second...instead hear the front door being slammed...look out the window and shes got on a coat she never wears and getting into her car with a face of thunder, even when i banged the window and waved for her to come in again, she just got in the car....had to jump out of bed and practically drag her back into the house.

bloody unpredictable women...still she was made up with it (eventually)

thank f*** i caught her before driving off....she'd have been in some mood all day if she'd thought id just got her choccies
