Right. Digital Camera (my dads), cannot be recognised by his laptop any more, it keeps on coming up with the UNKNOWN USB DEVICE bubble.

 

The camera can work fine on two other pcs for some reason, but not my laptop as well. Every pc/laptop is running on SP2 XP.

 

I know the problem is with the USB ports/hubs after browsing countless forums but the instructions are either unclear or long winded (to me anyway).

 

So, has anyone else had a similar problem that can actually tell me how to fix it in the Queens English ?
