If the stars aren't performing, bring on the youngsters

Maybe we need a few young lads with passion to shake things up a bit, I'd bring Anderson on, and test the new moroccan foward, even Hammil... I think these guys deserve a shot and hopefully one of them will break through...

i'll back that. if the seniors arent capable of stepping up pass the flame/ball :P to someone who will

Throwing them in at the deep end wouldn't work and would wreck their confidence. They need to be starting in confident, successful sides.

However, the odd one on the bench could work, particularly with an exciting winger. A bit of the unexpected, unafraid to have a go even if it means losing out could at least spark the crowd.

It's just how Walcott won the World Cup in July.

yeah. our supposed new twin exciting winger doesnt look that exciting arh?

cant pass players, what trick do they possess? maybe harry kewell can be our coach for winger since he cant play anymore.

For this cup game I'd drop every player who took to the pitch yesterday. Best lessons are the hardest lessons.

The problem is, rotation has taken away the embaressment of being dropped, players accept it now, strangley, making them play on wednesday night will be seen as more of a punishment as everyone accepts that the big teams tend to play their reserves in these games.

i can see your point too, maybe play some underperforming players with the youth team... the youngsters will be up for it and will maybe make the "stars" want to work more
