I've never been that much into American history and society I'm afraid, so I find it a bit difficult reading this book.

It has lots af names and dry figures in it, but since we have some Americans on YNWA.tv I was wondering if some of you could present your nation's history and society (and culture) in a more 'friendly' way, if that makes any sense.

Don't get me wrong, I would like to read and understand the whole book as the information is extremely useful (especially if I want to graduate later on!) but I find it hard to get all wrapped up in the book as it is now.

Any ideas?

Looking forward to next semester's Contemporary Britain
