Tonight (Monday), National Geographic at 9-00pm ADELAIDE TIME (The rest of you work out your local time), a programme called playing away. It's about Aussies playing overseas, the ad had loads of Craig Johbston, so could be good.

Craig Johnstone is a f*cking top bloke. I had no idea until a few months ago that he quit professional football and the best club in the world to look after his ill sister.

 

Sadly, a few years ago, he got ripped off and is officially bankrupt.

 

I hope he gets a managers job in the A-League.

Thought everyone knew about his sister. He stopped playing in the prime of life. Always gave 100 percent. Was his ripping off anything to do with the soccer boot he developed?

IIRC he didn't get anywhere near what he was due for the Predator design but what ended up skinting him was the Pig.

 

The Pig was a type of strap-on (ooo-errr) design for footy boots meant to be better and cheaper than the Predator. Like I said IIRC.
