It's all bollx really.

 

I personally would say it is impossible to win a competition like the league against a team with the resources like the chavs, but with Rafael Benitez, all bets are off.

 

Just watching the FA Cup DVD again and it reminds me of all he has achieved over the last too seasons. GH did very well when you look back on it, winning more than the two previous managers over the previous decade put together in 2001 alone, but Rafa really is a different level.

 

I would put no achievement past that man.

Sorry, should have explained a bit more.

 

I blame the wine.

 

My point is, everyone is concerned with the former. The players, the ones we've lost, the ones we've bought, who'll player where etc. Can we afford him, what'll we do if so-and-so is injured etc. But the truth lies with Rafa. He's more important at the moment than any player and as long as we have him we should believe we can achieve anything. He'll get the best out of what we've got and find these 'gems' from nowhere to produce for us.

 

This man won the CL with Smicer, Baros, Biscan, Djimi, FFS. Imagine what he'll do as he shapes the squad more and more?

Not slagging any of them off, but if anyone had have told me in '04 they would have all been instrumrental in a CL win, I would have have told them to feck off. Except Baros, who ironically was least instrumental of the lot.

 

Oh, and FA Cup final DVD update: Crouch was NEVER offside! Which muppet did they get to do the commentary?
