We were briefly linked with Snodgrass, don't remember anything about us having signed him. You can hardly call Pepper a signing either, he's 14 and won't even be at the Academy full time for another two years. We've probably signed up 5 or 6 other 14 year olds.

I think we've a bit of an informal arrangement with them at the moment, there was an article about it a while back, how we were sending up coaches to them and vice-versa. We signed Ryan Flynn from the youth-cup winning side from them last summer.

Missed the boat on that one, we could have had him last year when A -Madrid where unsure of his future, he was a bit hit and miss and had some injuries. now with him shinning in the world cup he will be rated at the 20-30m mark.

He was rated at £20 million + last year too so that boat hasn't gone anywhere.

There's no way we are after Viduka - everyone Rafa is signing is a high energy, versatile player. It may not be Kuyt, but he covered every blade of grass the other night and suits Rafa's plan. Next season, I see a lot of goals coming late on as the opposition just gets too knackered.
