Figaro Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 What a player this kid will be. Amazing. Hope Aragones plays him from the start in the WC. Barcelona dressing room lore has it that Guardiola and Xavi were watching a 12 year old Iniesta run the show in the final of the Spanish junior championships held at the Camp Nou. "You've retired me," said Guardiola, "but that kid will retire us both for good. I've never seen anyone as good."

Someone will snap him up if he doesn't start more games at Barca. Brilliant player.
owenthomas Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 he is fkin boss.. i happened to be texting my mate that i had a feeling Arsenal were going to win the game and at the end i put "this iniesta kids fkin good though - good sub that".. and then he went to prove my point.. he's class.. i thought he was going to score a wonderful goal when he went through at one point last night too.. in fact all the sub's Rijkaard put on did their job emphatically..
_00_deathscar Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 (edited) Gave Barca the kick up the a*** they needed. (pun fully intended. Even though I just noticed it ... TAXI) Great player. Edited May 18, 2006 by _00_deathscar
Guest Anders Honoré Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Everytime I watch him I become a bigger and bigger fan. The movement of Garcia coupled with the passing and vision of Xabi (although he doesn't have the same longrange passing). Amazing talent. He is gonna be one of the best midfielders in the world.
_00_deathscar Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Also, not sure if others noticed this - maybe it was only me, but I thought even when they were playing shyte and without any urgency in the first half, their long ball game was absolutely stunning. I don't recall them hitting more than two long passes that didn't reach it's destination - and they came from a vareity of sources - Deco, Edmilson, van Bommel, Puyol, Marquez....

nvdm Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 (edited) I didn't realise he is only 22. That's sick. Edited May 18, 2006 by Shaka
Swipe Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Guily is so quick. I was raving about Iniesta a few weeks ago. One of the ITV team said he was "only a bit-part player at Barca". WOn't be for much longer! He's magic.
