speaking to a few west ham fans in town on saturday night (poor lads where in the one4 with their west ham shirts being stared at)

 

they said that a mate of theirs knows the ex-west ham player john moncur. apparently he gave reo coker a bit of a financial incentive if he scored in the final and west ham won the cup.

 

its rumoured that moncur told reo coker he would pay him £1000 if he scored in the final and a further 500 if hie did his 'laffy taffy' celebration dance when he scored.

 

furthermore if he won the cup and he did the same dance before being presented the cup (in front of royalty i may add) moncur would give him £1000.

 

not so much gambling but a financial incentive.

 

and this is why i didn't want him to score as it would cheapen the moment of celebration
