Benitez Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 (edited) I've recently watched : 'The Return' - Russian film, that was ace, really enjoyed it.'Bombon El Perro' - Argentinian film, set in Patagonia - that was excellent as well. Just bought 'Maria Full of Grace' off Amazon, should get that in a day or two, and I have Intacto to watch.I also heard 'Historias Minimas' is good - same bloke that did El Perro. Anyone seen it? What else is good? What I don't like - not keen on horror, I had a bit of a phase of watching Asian horror films, but I got over that. Not really into blood an' guts like! Not into fantasy type movies What I like - good stories, comedy, films based on true stories, thrillers, that sort of malarky. Especially interested in South American and Spanish films, and Russian films. But happy to hear recommendations for other foreign films as well. (Edited to add - I've seen City of God as well).
