Interesting article. I've often wondered how streets of terraced housing that would be worth a fortune in London could be tinned up even accounting for the location. Some of the details around the door lintels etc are terrific. I suspect that the area has been in decline for decades and that the club has taken advantage of the fact (rather than being instigators of the decline), which is shameful enough. I also recall, way back in the day, that the 2 old sisters on Kemlyn Rd got fearful abuse and harrassment from misguided supporters. Would love to know more.
