No doubt about it. But a little less sensational when you think of it as Chelsea [with their bottomless pit of cash] and Porto, who aren't exactly up against Europe's elite week in, week out. Portugal have some good teams, and with both teams [even with cash] he's hard to play against some very good sides, but it's still not as impressive as it sounds, in my opinion.

Exactly what I thought. Seemed to be fine to me but it obviously wasn't good enough for the ref that he'd been running all over the place for 80mins, or however long. It wasn't like he turned around and walked across to the other side of the pitch first ..

Completely agree. They're a very good side no doubt but too many teams fear them. They had an extremely shaky start to the season (even though they won their first 6!) when they could've dropped points against Wigan, Spurs, Arsenal and others. But they scraped through them games and all of a sudden the media is all over them (well, even more than they were). Then teams just can't seem to cope. Just look as recently as Man City to see that teams just aren't themselves when they play Chelsea. No doubt it's partly because of Chelsea and how well they play/defend, but it would help if teams weren't so scared of them. Althouh hopefully they'll start fearing us too. Still, I reckon Chelsea are at their worst when their being put under pressure and even though West Ham have been in poor form of late (lost to Charlton!), they're an attacking side that could possibly cause Chelsea problems. Don't think they'll get anything because of Chelsea's form and the fact that West Ham were s**** against Man Utd when it mattered, but I'd rather it be West Ham than Villa, Boro etc.

I'd like to see: Reina Barragan Carra Whitbread Warnock Alonso Sissoko Pongolle Garcia Kewell Cisse But that would mean "rushing" Kewell back, so I'm not sure about that. Maybe Riise left 'wing' or Garcia there with Morientes in his position.

Looks like 4-4-2 but I guess it could be different. That team's easily strong enough anyway. Josemi and Hyypia aren't exactly brilliant defenders right now but I can't see CSKA scoring at least 3 at Anfield.
