Instead we see too much emphasis on schools trying to push their better students to get better marks to make up for their poorer students who are failing to perform..

Is this likely to be the main area of concern or 'barrier' if this change is to happen and be successful? Thinking back to how my school operated, you were streamed and teached at the same level for all subjects accordingly - the fact that some students were clearly better at some subjects then others didn't matter as you'd already been branded a failure or success, depending on the streaming..
