  1. One has to feel for him. His confidence is completely shot. Hopefully it works out for him wherever he ends up next.
  2. And there's no Jota or Nunez on the pitch to blame for the pedestrian play upfront. We will eventually score, but most of our game for the last month or so has been like this, dull.
  3. In a better team he will score more. He can play three to four positions, great technique and engine. Physically imposing as well.
  4. Kudus is a tidy player, lucky escape there.
  5. Virgil at fault there. The last few games he has not covered himself in glory. Too many games, or age catching up with him?
  6. Hmmm. I think there are deep systemic issues with the squad in terms of rotation, and player management. We will win the league(99% certain now), but a lot of things will have to be improved upon next season. Sounds silly to say so as champions. Oh no! Andy own goal.
  7. We seem to have run out of steam. We can't seem to put a complete 90 minutes together. It's either we start slowly, then end with a higher tempo, or the other way round. And this precedes Slot, in the final season under Klopp it was a similar pattern in many of our games.
  8. He's making a very decent case for not getting a new contract if the guys in the suits have been watching for the last few months. After the issues with Hendo, and a few others who got extensions that in hindsight they shouldn't gave gotten, his performances recently don't exactly inspire confidence that his legs aren't gone.
  9. Sama strengths he displayed when he came down to Anfield with Benfica. He's not the greatest striker we've ever had by any means, but he can do a job on his day if given the service.
  10. It might help if we play to his strengths instead of playing slow and predictable passes .
  11. It's so frustrating to watch, especially in these circumstances.
  12. He's been since the turn of the year most times. I think Slot has overplayed him, some time on the bench would do him a world of good. He looks physically and mentally shot.
  13. Next season is where he has to prove himself, we surely can't mess up being crowned champions from here. He's showing a stubbornness and rigidity in team selection which I want to put down to him not fancying some of the squad.
  14. He was against Everton too, especially in the first half.
  15. Even before the injury to Trent, we've not been solid at the back for while now.
  16. And then some. Performances haven't been great for a while now, but some individual brilliance have papered the cracks over. One or two in the defence have been far too casual for sometime, and upfront Salah since the turn of the year has been rather quiet tin most games.
  17. Nunez for all his faults has pace, and makes things happen. No doubt he can be frustrating, but he will create openings for himself, and other players. Jota is a better finisher when in form, but he's been poor for a while now though, and he just doesn't have the physicality to lead the line.
  18. Everton are fighting like their lives depend on it.
  19. He's lost the plot completely. He could have played Elliott and/or Chiesa against Southampton. He could have, and should rotated more over the last few weeks. Instead he's kept or playing more less the same first eleven, even when there was no need to do so. ,
  20. Mo's hiding an injury from the first half I think
