Not very surprised, to be honest. Henry was very clear in saying that we will spend only what we earn, and without the Champions League money, we have probably already spent our transfer budget for this season. It's a shame that most of that budget has gone on over-rated and overpriced domestic players, but that is our reality. I still hope that Comolli will start to earn his wages, and will find a couple of Mascherano-type loan deals in the next week.

It's a shame that probably no significant money will be spend in this transfer window. Considering the inconsistent form of Chelsea and Arsenal, we could probably still sneak in the top 4, if we address our weaknesses.
