Moores, Parry and Purslow are all supporters of LFC. Given their track record, why do people think there's virtue in supporters having influence in the running of the club? Am I missing something obvious? -

With Italian tax rates of 43% (assuming collection's not too corrupt) that's gross pay of over £300 per week that Inter will be paying him. Seems a bit high to me.

Agree but also how does he cope in adversity, does his head go down or is he motivated to fight back.

I agree with what you say for contracts generally. However I don't know how players contracts are written. If it's as you say then when Chelsea offered £50m Torres could have walked away but it seems LFC still had some hold over him and only released him when Carroll was secured.

I've read somewhere (which may be utter crap) that the clause in his contract allows him to talk to anyone who offers over £16m but that the Rovers are not committed to release him.
