Memories of Cardiff's Millennium Stadium

It's not just the stadium that adds to the day, it's the city itself and welcome we get. It all adds up to a brilliant day and I think we will all miss it once Wembley and the rip-off Cockerney prices return.

I was lucky enough to get a ticket for the Birmingham game, but saw nothing of the city as I got in the ground as they kicked-off. For the Arsenal game a few months later I took Antony (his first FA Cup Final), and we, well I sampled the hospitality beforehand, and it was great not to be 'on your guard' in the pubs and walking the street etc etc.

I've not been to all our games at Cardiff, but the whole place is great and it will be missed.

Hopefully history will be on our side and we'll be the first and last football team to lift a trophy on it's soil.

Doesn't mean you can never go back there! Just get down there in the summer for a weekend. Get down to the bars overlooking the bay (due south of the Stadium). You'll love it. There's nowhere like it.
