2 films seen this week - Capote & The Matador

Went to see the Matador, not expecting much to be honest! Read a couple dodgy reviews. And I'm not a big fan of Mr Brosnan. But I found the film very entertaining, and pretty stylishly filmed. Easy viewing really. Not much in the way of a great plot like, but fun to watch, and some good funny bits. And Pierce Brosnan was very good in it.

 

Capote was very good as well I think. I've not read the book In Cold Blood, so now I will have to.

Again a pretty stylish, dark movie, very well acted. Anyone reckon Philip Hoffman could win an Oscar for this performance?

 

Saw Walk The Line on the flight back home too, but fell asleep towards the end of it I'll 'ave to watch it again properly!
