That performance has been coming for the last few games...ever since the Everton game. Won't read too much into Gerrard's ' celebration ' as he's done it a few times before. Some of them look knackered - Kewell seems to have gone ' over the top ' and might need a game out and most of the key players who've been playing most of the games look in need of a rest

 

Hyypia and Carra need a rest but i guess that Rafa doesn't trust the back-up. He switched Reina for Carson but left the centre backs. Carra, Hyypia and Crouch looked ****ed in the last game and a few of us said they needed a week off...i think that was proved today.

 

Just like against Olympiakos, the energy and ability of Sinama changed the game and gave everyone a lift. A half-time b******ing might also have had something to do with it !
