It was done tongue in cheek because every goal Crouch scores is contested. It was an obvious joke.

On RAWK yesterday someone put

 

Crouch scores 1

Crouch scores 2

Crouch scores 3

And Crouch scores 4

 

(But goals one and three are later credited as own goals)

Last nights looked like it was in off the post, so it should be credited as such.

For example, if the FA gives an OG against Crouch's 2 goals (v Given n v Martyn) but the club recognises the goals and as such credit the goals into Crouch's career goals for column..

 

does this move by the club stand in the record books?
