The Reds' victory over Newcastle on Boxing Day extended their winning run in The Premiership to eight and Gerrard claims the Anfield dressing room is looking to secure silverware.

 

Liverpool still sit 15 points adrift of Chelsea and their mettle will be tested on Wednesday as they tackle Everton in the Merseyside derby, but Gerrard is convinced the players have the mindset to challenge for glory.

I believe this is another of those circumstances were Gerrard told a press conference and The S*n are passing it off as theirs. However as any reference to that paper is unacceptable on this forum I am closing this thread.
