A CD of hers arrived through my door a few days back. I couldn't remember when I ordered it or why but I took it in and gave it a listen. And I listened to it again tonight. And I am baffled by it.

 

It looks like a re-issue of some deeply obscure 70s backwater lost folk classic. It sounds like some medieval minstrel has crash landed in a banjo shop and upset the witch who owns the shop. But it turns out it was recorded only this year. Weird and disorientating do not begin to describe this record. Help me. Please
