Translate App

Hi Nathan. I hope you are keeping well.

Did another developer took over your Translation App? If not, is there someone in particular you recommend to contact about this? (Assuming that you are still willing to provide the original files to other developers).

Thanks.

No - any apps taken over will be reflected in this topic:

If you have the installation file for them to install and review, then pass it on to someone (if you don't, then the boat has been missed to download them, as per the warnings provided a few times since January)

If they decide to take it on then I will pass on the full application folder to them.

@Col I don't see you as a purchaser of the app via this site, so if you installed it from when Invision had the Marketplace then you didn't redeem your IPS Marketplace Key to allow you to get access to it from here. See https://www.ynwa.tv/topic/164327-marketplace-section-of-the-site-will-be-decommissioned-on-31st-july-2025/

If you had redeemed your key and the purchase has expired (it will have) then you will need to renew to obtain the installation file.

If you wish to do the above (redeem a key and/or renew a purchase) reply to here and I'll make the relevant features available on the site to allow you to do so.

Note to all: I will not be providing the installation file for any resources to anyone if their purchase hasn't been redeemed (if purchased via Invision) and renewed (if needed)

Ah. I communicated with you last year and you were unsure if you would be upgrading the app for v5, so I held off purchasing it. I read your post here at the beginning of the year - I seems that I misunderstood or misread it.

There is no reply option available to me - I was forced to a start a second topic.

If I can find someone who is willing to (re)develop Translate into a v5-compatible version, and the price is OK, would it be possible for me to pay you a reasonable fee to release your files to an approved developer? I'm guessing not, reading the below. But I thought I'd ask.

Thanks for letting me know - that's now resolved.

I think you'd be better served contacting a developer to request an app be created for you from scratch.

However, if you wish to purchase the app and proceed to pass them on to a developer then let me know and I can make the functionality available to you - the app is $50 (US) or £37.50 (UK)

Note: if someone does take it on for you, when I provide them the dev files then I will also provide my originally planned full re-design of the application that I had been working on (pre-v5) so that they can see how I was improving it to work for non-Invision Suite apps.

OK. I'll see if I can find a developer for this and take it from there.

Thank you Nathan.
