PreoDay have a developed an online ordering app for Burnley Football Club which went live at their home match against Yeovil Town on Saturday 17 August 2013.

 

Dubbed the “i-Pie app” by the club’s own marketing office, the app is designed to increase food and drink sales, and reduce queues during the traditionally frantic half-time service. News of the app’s launch spread like wildfire, via social media sites and the club’s own website, resulting in a frenzy of downloads as eager fans rushed to sign up in time for the match.

 

Commentators have hailed it: “a brilliant idea”, “Genius“, and “Trailblazing” and it’s clear Burnley fans have embraced the new concept by signing up and placing orders already. Available on both iPhone and Android platforms, the app can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store; once downloaded customers can be placing orders within minutes.
