NESV and their support of Roy Hodgson

NESV according to their admissions are novices when it comes to football. If NESV gets sucked into appeasing the press mind what are the chances of the club progressing? I can see logic in appointing a director of football but Commolis appointment in retrospect makes me feel uneasy as well. If we look at a club like Real Madrid whose success on the pitch is what we should aspire to better the director of football is usually a club legend who has played at the highest level which is something Commoli lacks. I am worried this could be an out of the frying pan into the fire situation..
