Had a very nice meal in a restaurant on Friday and on the next table is four blokes, one of which is Nigel Spackman. We end up getting their bill and in the ensuing bid to sort it out we get a bit of banter going. So I tell Nigel I'm a Liverpool supporter and he starts asking me about last Tuesday's match (he was there). Obviously I'm not initially sure if he's Red or (Chelsea) Blue given he actually had a longer Chelsea career than a Liverpool one, but no, as Souness said the other week, its with you forever.

 

referred to Liverpool as 'we' throughout, and was confident that 'we' can get the result we need on Wednesday. A nice bloke, completely LFC all the way through.
