Getting away from the off-field dross

as effective as our European game was before, the arrival of Torres has thoroughly complemented it. At times we don't see a whole lot of possession in European games but anything that goes near him sticks. His ability to pull a goal from nowhere is astonishing.

 

Got me to thinking as to what type of player complements his style in our system. A Crouch up there with him, a Gerrard off him or a David Villa type up there working the channels and open spaces with him, constantly on the shoulder or running at defenders.
