A father-of-three told today how burglars raided his family home and then posted gloating messages to his estranged wife on Facebook.

Mark Moore, 45, of Churwell, Leeds, said the thieves used a computer stolen from his house to taunt Elizabeth, 44, about the burglary on the social networking website.

Mrs Moore, who is separated from her husband and lives in Morley, Leeds, said she was shocked and frightened by the messages.

The burglars stole a Rover ZR car, a green Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle and two computers from Mr Moore's home.

Mr Moore, a service engineer, told the Yorkshire Evening Post they then accessed his youngest son's Facebook account details on one of the computers to send the messages to his wife.

"They sent one message saying 'Great motorbike and laptops - but where was the helmet, bitch?'," he said.

Mrs Moore said: "The second message basically said 'Ha ha. Find me and make it a slow death'."

She added: "I was shocked and frightened."

West Yorkshire Police said they were trying to trace those responsible for the burglary.
