Phone problem - Nokia 6300

Been having problems with the memory on this since I got it. so Upgarded the memory card to 2gb. Problem is my textmessages are still coming in to (?) and stored on the phone memeory, which keeps filling up. Is there anyway I can change the messages to be stored on the memory card?
