Although I'm no great fan of Scottish footballers (well, modern ones anyway ), this lad has really caught my eye when I've seen him play. A full back who, despite wanting to get forward at every opportunity, is actually a very good defender as well. Against Barca in the CL the other night, he was fantastic, snuffing out Henry on more than one occaision.

 

Definitely one to keep an eye on IMO, wouldn't be surprised to see one or more of the big boys sniffing around at the end of the season. He's only 23, got his whole career ahead of him and unlike the vast majority of his British defensive contemporaries, he looks comfortable as hell on the ball. However my knowledge of Scottish football could hardly be described as indepth so does anyone know any more about this lad?

Most improved player in Scottish football, under Le Guen he was woeful.

He's been brilliant everytime I've seen him, only about 5 times mind but he's quick, gets forward, defends well and will just smash through someone if they're in the way. Dunno if thats the norm of whether it's just a coincidence that i've watched his few good games though.
