You know when you are driving about and you pull over to let someone through or let someone pull out into heavy traffic from a side road, and they raise a hand or a finger of acknowledgement and nod as if to say 'thank you'?

Well, when did the world stop doing this? Did I miss that meeting? Was legislation slipped through that now makes it illegal to say thank you to other drivers now?

I've been keeping tally and since Tuesday I've done 13 good turns for other drivers, and not one of the miserable f*ck*rs has so much as smiled at me. Not a solitary one of them.

The worst was Wednesday when I was driving down a narrow road with cars on both sides of the road, another car coming towards me. He had nowhere to go, so I stopped, reversed 50 yards back down the road into a space. The other car pootles down the road and just drives past, eyes fixed ahead of him like I was invisible.

OK, its not like I'm going to suffer through not receiving a 'thank you' from these ungrateful c*nts, but feck me, it costs absolutely nothing to smile and raise a hand as you drive past. IT COSTS FECK ALL. And its just one more sign that the people who drive cars where I live (Brighton) are a bunch of ungrateful, bad mannered, ignorant, impolite c*ntwits and I hope they all crash their cars and die.

The miserable c*nts.
