Todays start to the flat season

It's the Lincoln again and some of us backed Capable Guest to get a place last year at fairly big odds. It's in the race again and has a chance but could have had a better draw ( 4 ) but for this years Lincoln i'm backing Tanzanite. Trainer is in form ( backed one if his to win at 8-1 at Ascot yesterday ) and he has a very good draw - 11. Everyone is talking about a high draw but Newcastle doesn't work like that and the Spring Mile an hour earlier will give a good indication so with Tanzanite drawn 11, he can go either side.

 

Newcastle - Spring Mile : Mezuzah, South Cape

Newcastle - Lincoln Handicap : Tanzanite, Capable Guest

 

I'll be having four doubles but i'd recommend backing Tanzanite each way and Mezuzah, who won the race last year, has a chance in the Spring Mile.
