Something I have been thinking about, and now that we look like we may have money, could be worthwhile.

 

Is it worthwhile having the liverpool in south america, south africa, australia etc 'owned' by liverpool fc? It seems we are the biggest liverpool so why not?

 

From a value perspective, I think it would be worthwhile.

What would make the most sense would be to open an academy in Dubai. Having no problems with work permits, it would open up the door to all the top talent in the world. They would still need some kind of back door to Europe, but it could be arranged by having links to a belgium club (as Arsenal had and both Chelsea and Man U have).

Was there not some talk of having a Dubai academy? I sem to remember something like that.

There was talk of an academy in Dubai Sports City that United were supposed to be involved in, not sure what came of that.
