We have a ticketing system at work so every customer request or technical issue etc can be put into a workflow, and tracked until completion. Helps us maintain our SLA's etc... You get the gist.

 

It was coded in-house, as we wanted something fairly bespoke. It has been up and running very successfully for about 6 months. No hitches.

 

Today, the Finance Director phones up out of the blue, and says "I have found a flaw in the system."

 

"What's wrong with it?" asks the lead developer...

 

"We can't track issues if somebody doesn't log a ticket."

How does he earn over 100k is what I wanna know.
