He's a right w***** as well but from a very good family. His parents are the salt of the earth and I feel so sorry for them. His other two brothers and his sister are bright, normal, well adjusted people but he was always a maverick. I don't know much more than I've read in the papers about the case but I do see the toll it's taking on his parents. His mother's been in poor health and I don't know what this will do to her. They are currently at his home barracks looking after his kids but the Army and the police have been round to their house making security arrangements in case they are identified and attacked. I can't tell you how wrong that would be but even my sister's been getting calls on her home phone number with people (journalists, it has to be said) trying to ask questions. I don't care what happens to him, he deserves everything that's coming to him but it's his poor, poor family I feel for.
