Was supposed to be going to San Francisco next week

I've just had to cancel my flights because some idiot in the hospital gave me the wrong information about doctor's appointments. I was originally told they were for the week after next. The now turn out to be for next Thursday and I cant miss them. I'd arranged to meet some friends there. They were going to travel from New York. I've just mailed them to say not to bother.

Totally pissed off. I've had a really bad year with health problems and I was really looking forward to spending a little time in a city I adore with friends I love to kinda signal an end to the worst of them. Just because some fool couldnt give me the correct dates for appointments.... Grrrrrrrr.
