Set your video, Tivo or Sky+ for this two hour programme.

Monday 22nd May 2006

2130-2330hrs

Sky Sports 1

The story of how the 2006 FA Cup was won. After a long journey, Liverpool and West Ham made it to the final, a game away from landing the trophy.

Of course we know hows they won it, on penalties after extra time

Ours mustve been one of the best cup runs ever.

The pompey game was a bit dull I can imagine for the neutral but we still beat a premiership side, away from home.

Yep, gotta be one of the best. Makes it all the better. I remember when we won that FA Cup v Sunderland when Souness was manager- we only played 1 top league team the whole way  Just didn't have the same feeling winning that one!

And like Arsenal last year - really easy run, only one game you could say was tough - away to Bolton. They played lower league teams, and still needed a replay or two I think.

Just makes it all the sweeter when you get through a tough run to win it

I've now forgotten travelling to Burnley 'away'. Twice.

That was dire but we approached it better this year. I luv the FA Cup.
