As I've said before, we move like a tortoise in the transfer market. If we really wanted Salah we should have bit the bullet and got him early in the month, not waited until the competition comes in later. It happened last summer and it will happen again and again with our current management. We buy players now where there is no competition in sight but as soon as the Chelseas, Man Citys, Spurs etc etc come into view we are blown out of the water because we seem to buy "by committee" and that means s l o w. I'm really furious about Salah. The guy is seriously fast. He said he wanted to come to us but all we did was try and pare the price down to 7 mln. If we'd bid 11/12 mln to start with we wouldn't have had to worry about Chelski or anyone else.
