Alonso at his best and it's no contest, but he has not been at his best for a while, Barry is a more consistant option. I cannot see a place for both Barry & Alonso and Barry won't want to play left back, so ?

I would never leave a fit Agger out though, only my opinion. His ability to bring the ball out from defence is priceless and upsets teams.

I think playing Skrtel and Agger would let us play a higher line, they're both pretty quick, Agger especially is great on the ball.

I would like to see Babel play behind Torres in the 3 with maybe Gerrard right but Stevie won't agree I would like to see Carragher, Agger and Skrtel in our side, but we need atleast one fullback good going forward.
