I see Cisse took off his shirt right after the final whistle... Will he be given another chance to prove himself or be offloaded in january? Could have been his last game for him if he's definitely off. He played better today. I wonder what Rafa will do with him.

It`s in the air that we're second best. We need to stop those crosses coming in - they somehow get on the end of it most of the time.

Everton v Liverpool Everton have been scrapping for their lives at the moment... admittedly to no avail in the 4-0 defeat to Aston Villa. This time, particularly with it being against Liverpool, they'll scrap, niggle and fight to the death. Their Merseyside rivals, in contrast, seem to be getting everything right although it worries me what they'll do should Stevie Gerrard get injured. Verdict: 1-1 Fair enough - but what has Stevie possibly getting injured got to do with the derby? And then he continues like this - watch out for the result... Man City v Chelsea Manchester City are scoring goals for fun but, if they don't sort out their defence, they'll end up shipping five to Chelsea. But after the Wigan game I expect a different side, especially as manager Stuart Pearce will have read the riot act. What's ominous for other sides is that Chelsea still haven't played well this season, although they're getting dangerously close. Hernan Crespo is finding his form, as are the likes of Joe Cole and Arjen Robben... and it's only a matter of time before they rip a team apart. Verdict: 2-0 BBC

...The Premier League's Dubious Goals Panel meets regularly these days to discuss Crouch's plunder. "You've got to give me that one, surely," said the striker. They most likely will with Raul, sitting in the directors' box alongside his family clad in Morientes No19 shirts, presumably amazed by the formality of it all... Link Another Spaniard for Anfield?
