Peter Beardsley and Dean Saunders

Also, people talking about him just moving players on....it is just carroll isnt it He is talking Hendo up, maxi up etc etc

How do you know he doesnt have the hunger? He has scored 29 premiership goals on 2 seasons, compared to Carrols 22

As for doing better than Dempsey RvP Aguero Rooney scored more league goals than him last season yes please to 17 bleague goals

I just dont see the point in keeping a player whpo clearly the manager doesnt see fitting into his style of player Rodergs seems the type who wont compromise on this and I think this is a good thing As for bedding strikers in Neil, christ look at our goals tally last season....it can hardly be worse and he might not...its a judgement call

i cannot believe that people are so bothered because a player isnt fancied by a manager People are talking like he has never seen him play

doesnt make it a bad one either

So therefore Carroll will work in a system that involves front players pressing with a high tempo doestn work like that does it

] it is about laying down a foundation, I am happy that B R has a vision and a plan....That was my worry with KD ast season, it seemed off the hoof a little ( and this isnt revisionism i said this for most of last season)

erm I watched him all last season and he was poor for 80% of uit and you can dress that up all you like Dempsey will fit better into a high tempo pressing side fact

short sighted? its the opposite.....its about vision and style and getting people to fit into it.. If he genuinely thinks Carroll doesnt fit the bill he needs to move him on ALL managers do this

I can, and I like him, but if it is a high tempo pressing game we are going to adopt he wouldnt be my choice......

not last season it isnt, its a fact His finishing was better...17 league goals

We have a month to the start of the season, if he doesnt fit he needs to go and go now

world beater? As I said I like the lad, and he came on in the last two months but lets not change history...he had a good couple of months. He was s**** for a year before that Thats not an opinion, it is fact

the alternative being, he stays and doesnt play...the press make a meal of it, it is a smell arouind the club we dont need and Rodgers doesnt If Rodgers doesnt want him, then he needs to get rid.....

I would be more worried if rodgers stook with Carroll because we paid the money As with the DoF issue when he was interviewed, he knows what he wants and is single minded...

If we got a deal of £15m that is his market value If you are stupid enough to buy a twix for £5.00 it doesnt mean you will selll it for more than the £55p

I thought Carroll rocked up for the last two months of the season, and i like the lad from what I have heard BUT It is plain that Rodgers has a specific style of play which he wants us to adopt, based around high energy pressing without the ball, intelligent movement an quick incisive passing with it....I dont think AC fits that bill, and Rodgers knows it. He wants to bring players in who does and it is not in our interest or Carroll's that the lad sits here and rots.. He isnt going to play is he It isnt about coaching, it is about identifying what you require and moulding a squad it also shows rodger's strength that he isnt beholdent to the fact we paid so much. My opinion

i think he has done a good job so far of talking to his audience tbh

he talked about being interested in him but other clubs would be too

maybe I am naive but I doubt he would be saying this unless its done

shut it

he cant win can he? Doesnt talk Carroll up, he is gone and its terrible talks a new signing up and he should under play it f***s sake

what if the explanation is the truth?
