His condition , i.e. his knee is pre-existing ...if that goes then why not?

If I would imagine Chelsea or any other PL club would stick in a clause that if he his knee goes that the contract between club and himself is null and void and that he can be released by the club if medical opinion is that the injury is from his existing knee condition already.

He is looking for 80K a week, he is on 20K a week plus 20K appearance with Newcastle. 80K a week for say 4 years is to much for a player with a dodgy knee
