The manager was given a budget, spent it on Borini and Allen. Then tried to sell some players to get in forwards. Think he needs to look at himself as well as Ayre and the owners. In life nothing is guaranteed, Allow Caroll to leave when replacement signs. Looks like Chelsea did that to us with Sturridge. Maybe Ayre messed up big time, we will never know. To say Rodgers was misled is a big leap into the dark. Where was he on deadline day, should have been at the heart of the negotiations pushing through a deal or even better concluded the deal weeks ago before Allen.
