Not sure what I can add that hasn't already been said, only that it's a stark reminder we have a revamped squad and we aren't the full package yet. there were only ten minutes at the start of the second half where I thought our passing and attacking was where it should be.
There are a few worries with players:
Soboz's form has dropped off a cliff and his interplay with Trent is very predictable and rarely productive. He's capable of some brilliant one-touch passing but seems nothing is coming off for him at the moment.
Nunez... Well still don't know what to make of him and I think that's partly the problem. He should be a recognizable striker by now and he just isn't. We've been used to having two or three strikers providing problems for the opposition and now we don't seem to have any. With an aging Salah, we can't afford to wait for Nunez to become an adequate replacement, we need someone now.
I find it funny, kinda', to read how much we're missing Jota. It's true we could've done with him today, but it wasn't that long ago he was considered the backup for Mané or Bobby.
On the plus side, Gravenberch looks promising, if he can stay fit! Endo will be useful, if he plays to the limits of his abilities. Same goes for Tsimi'.
All in all, a disappointing result against a team that was clearly there for the taking.
