Update on our attempt to improve the forums

Further to what we posted a couple of weeks ago, we have now taken action to ban certain members accounts in order to try and improve the quality of the forums. There are no guarantees that this will work but it is our best effort for the time being.

 

We can assure you that there has been nothing "personal" in the decision as to which accounts should be banned - all bannings were agreed by the vast majority of the Owners and Moderators and not one of the bannings was objected to. (Worth mentioning just to head off the inevitable "personal vendetta" accusations).

 

Hopefully the forums will quickly return to their previous high standards. Thanks for your understanding.
