Liverpool FC in Kenya

Hi all,

 

Just wanted to share a blog post I have written today (giving myself enough time to get into my local boozer for kick-off).

 

It’s all about the recent trip to Kenya that a few of the Liverpool coaching staff and Ian Rush recently went on.

 

I’ve left Merseyside to live in Zanzibar a few months ago. The premier league is massive here, everyone follows the teams, wears the shirts and watches the games. It’s made me realise how far football stretches and how much of a connection you can make with someone you can’t even speak the same language as because of the beautiful game. I don’t know if it’s a co-incidence or not, but all the mates I have made here have been Liverpool fans!
