Superjay Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Went to see both Men who stare at goats & The fourth kind tonight. Both claim to be true stories. The fourth kind is just an alien abduction version of blair witch. It's an alright horror and actually had me questioning what was actually real up until the "possesed" scenes where it goes completely over the top and kind of ruins the illusion a bit, especially since quite a lot of CGI is used on it. Milla Jovovitc is gorgeous as usual. 6/10 Men who stare at goats was recommended to me by some kid who works in our lass's cinema as "Very coenesque" b***ox to that. It entertaining enough and the story may well be true but nothing happens in it and is overly reliant on clooney, spacey & bridges comic acting to get through and it does manage it except the fact that it totally negated by ewan mcgregor's attrocious american accent. Could have been so much beter and dont expect a big bang ending as I have rarely seen a film that ends on such a whimper. An actual 6/10
