Email help needed

I wonder if anyone else on Virgin Media is having email problems?

 

Every time I try to send/receive I just get a window prompting me for my user name and password.

 

I rang the chaps at the call centre in India, but they didn't help because they said they didn't support Outlook 2003. This seems strange because that is the email program that comes with MS Outlook. They said that if I changed to Outlook Express, they would try to help me. So I changed to Outlook Express, and that didn't work either. So I rang the chaps in India back, and they said that lots of people were having email problems and not to worry about it!
