One Night In May: - Liverpool V Milan 2005

Just watched the bloody thing again for the first time in like a year, and it really really brings back the emotions. After watching it, i could not help but get emotional about the whole night itself. I spent the night in Melbourne Australia at the Celtic club with about 800 other reds supporters, and it truly was the best night of my f***ing life.

 

I will always remember before the game, when my Mrs asked me if i felt we would win. I still remember looking in the sky and saying "Babe there just seems to be something about this year, its like we are meant to win it". Never though in my wildest dreams could i have plotted what would unfold that night. The good, the bad, the singing and the crying, it was all just so special.

 

I honestly cannot help but think that this year will be our year once more. I know that Milan are a great team and all, but we are f***ing better this year than the last. The whole scenes at Anfield two weeks ago just fill me with confidence, that #6 is on its way.

Yes, one great programme that. The lad that gets on the pitch at the end, funny as it was - pisses me off a bit though.
