I'm looking for a new job and it's driving me mad!!

To be honest I'm happy in what I'm doing now, but there's one reason why I need to get out - I'm doing shift work and it's killing me. I've been having problems sleeping, feel really run down, have had quite a few different illnesses and loads of other things that I'm sure are related to the fact I'm working these late nights.

As such I've decided I need a Mon-Fri 9-5 job, but I'm finding it really frustrating trying to find one. In my current role (I'm a Team Leader in a call centre) I'm very good at what I do (sounds arrogant but my record shows it's true), but the problem I face is that I can't see the next promotion coming for some time as we've gone from having 9 people in the role above me, down to 6 and they don't look like they are going anywhere soon. If the position was available I think I'd have a damn good chance, but I can't afford to wait too long for the next step. The problem I face now is that I can't get the same salary I'm on elsewhere, so I feel totally stuck. Because I've done well I'm pretty much at the top of our payscale, have my fingers in quite a few pies in the company, but don't have an obvious 'next step' that would get me onto 9-5, which I need for me health and sanity. The only chance I've got of not working lates would involve working every Saturday, which would take away my biggest pleasure of going the match.

My current experience includes such things as: Managing teams of up to 16, quality control, coaching, 1-2-1's, external recruitment, driving KPI's, handling HR issues, minor disciplinary issues and the usual people management stuff.

So has anyone got any ideas for what I could do that would be Mon-Fri, 9-5 for a half decent whack? I'm willing to take a pay cut if needed for better hours and a better job, but still can't find anything!! As it seems Team Leader jobs don't pay what I'm on, I've looked in the training and recruitment fields, but nothing apparent is there. So any hints/tips/ideas?

Of even better... gizza job (in Derby)!!
